The Story

Screenshot 1In a distant world, a man called Gandrake develops a device called the Nebulium Engine, a perpetual machine powered by the mineral nebulite. This revolutionary invention brings about new advancements and changes the lives of people everywhere. But progress comes at a heavy price, for it is discovered that nebulite can produce tremendous energy if magic is added during the extraction process.

Screenshot 2Seeking a steady source of magic, Gandrake and his militaristic corporation attack Antheum, home of the Mystics - a people gifted in the arts of magic. To save them from Gandrake's schemes, the princess of the Mystics invokes a legendary spell just as the enemy takes her captive and drives her subjects from their homes. Unbeknownst to her, the spell succeeds and summons a young samurai named Musashi...

Screenshot 3Now, called across space and time to a strange land, Musashi must find Princess Mycella and save the Mystics if he is to have any chance of returning home. But he is not alone - with the aid of an eccentric but brilliant martial arts master, Musashi strives to become the greatest samurai ever known. With an entire world to save, he has his work cut out for him!

The Way of the Samurai

Screenshot 4In this strange new world, Musashi will need to employ every skill at his disposal in order to save the Mystics and ultimately defeat Gandrake. The art of duplication, which allows Musashi to study and then replicate enemy techniques, will help Musashi along the path to perfection, as will Master Mew's training, but his most important assets will be the Great Oar and the Five Sacred Swords, which he will collect as he rescues the Mystic Maidens who guard them.

Screenshot 5These swords possess latent powers which can be awakened to grant Musashi extraordinary abilities, such as unleashing violent earthquakes, launching fiery missiles or even becoming invisible! These 5 swords are the Mystics' most sacred objects, and a legacy of the time when they were pre-eminent due to their magical prowess, but with the passage of time their powers have waned and left them at the mercy of unscrupulous villains like Gandrake. Now, Musashi will have to travel the world in order to rescue the scattered Mystics and return Antheum, the Mystic village, to its original glory! CHARACTERS

The Good Guys!

Musashi
Our hero is the young warrior who will grow up to be Miyamoto Musashi, the most famous samurai in Japanese history. His early martial arts training is interrupted when Princess Mycella summons him to her world.

Master Mew
While strolling through Wellspring Woods, Master Mew comes upon Musashi, unconscious on the forest floor after the rigours of his magical journey to this new world. Recognising his natural ability, Master Mew becomes his sensei and mentor from that day forward, helping Musashi develop the skills he will require to defeat the evil Gandrake and his henchmen.

Princess Mycella
Mycella is a strong-willed girl with a deep sense of responsibility for her people. She uses her summoning talents to call forth help from a distant land.

Burrini
Burrini, Maiden of Earth, sets out to retrieve the Sword of Earth, but it soon becomes clear that this will be no simple thing...

Fontina
The Maiden of Water is keeper of the Sword of Water and a librarian at the Antheum archives. Her knowledge is the pride of the Mystics. She is self-reliant and headstrong.

Mirabo & Maribo
These twin maidens guard the Sword of Fire, but their true power manifests itself only when the two are together. Passionate Mirabo and practical Maribo are polar opposites, but they are close and complement each other well.

Istara
Istara is the guardian of the Sword of Wind. She is a fearsome fighter, having trained in swordsmanship since early childhood and with countless victories in the Arena. She lives in Picodon Jungle and will not hesitate to destroy any who threaten her home or friends.

The Bad Guys!

Gandrake
The enigmatic but formidable head of Gandrake Enterprises threatens to overpower Mycella and her people. He is believed to be a gifted swordsman, but little is known about him.

Rothschild
Rothschild is Gandrake Enterprises' Director of Administration. He is a cold and cunning strategist, and although these talents make him a valuable asset, nobody knows what his next step might be...

Glogg
As Director of Negotiations, Glogg uses his immense physical strength and undoubted fighting prowess to "negotiate" lucrative contracts for Gandrake Enterprises. Although his propensity to think with his fists and not his brain has proven his undoing more than once, he is not to be underestimated.

Riesling
Although the Director of Security, his limited intellectual gifts make him the butt of the Board's jokes, with Malbec taking particular pleasure in attempting to humiliate him, but it is on the battlefield where he comes into his own. He and Glogg form a fearsome tag team, which has never tasted defeat!

Malbec
A child prodigy, he is Director of Research and Development and has created most of Gandrake Enterprises' most devastating weapons. But while the Board appreciate his talents, he is immature and spoilt and this leads him into conflict with the other directors, in particular Riesling.
