  • This title includes both a recreation of the original game and a modern rearrangement complete with multiplayer mode.

    The original Space Invaders can be enjoyed in each of the following four versions: black and white, cellophane, color, and upright. What's more, secret techniques like Nagoya Attack and Rainbow can be reproduced under the same conditions as when the original game came out.

  • Players are a part of Operation Wolf, the most fearless and skilled personnel the US Armed Forces have to offer. They approach the jungle area believed to be the center of the terrorist camp.

    Using a machine gun and missiles to reduce the enemy forces to zero strength, players can advance to the next mission.

    Their objective is to free the hostages from the terrorists and bring them to safety. When hit by the enemy, player level of damage will increase. If the injury indicator at the bottom of the screen becomes completely red, the injury level has become critical and the game ends.

BUBBLE BOBBLE

  • Bubble Bobble, at the time of its release, introduced brand-new play mechanics, with players defeating enemies by trapping them in bubbles they blew, and then popping them. It was first released in 1986 as a puzzle-action game featuring the two Bubble Dragons, "Bub" and "Bob". Although the game is beaten by clearing all 100 rounds, the game contained secret elements such as not being able to get the "true ending" in single-player mode, having hidden commands that led to secret rounds, and containing a ton of different items.

ActRaiser

  • ActRaiser, which first appeared in 1990, is back for the Virtual Console.

    Players proceed through the game by defeating demons in side-scrolling action levels and building cities in simulation mode. The two modes, each made with such care it could stand on its own, influence each other as the game world develops.
