Job Description
- Editing of game text translated from Japanese to French
- Editing of French web sites, localisation glossaries and other material
- Translation of press releases, manuals and other material from English to French
- Involvement in the quality assurance process

Skills Required
- Exceptional native-level French
- Excellent English skills
- Excellent writing and composition skills
- Ability to work intensively within tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Previous experience in video games localisation
- Good knowledge of MMORPGs, RPGs or console games

Recommended
- Good knowledge of fantasy and Square Enix games background
- Knowledge of Japanese language and popular culture
- Previous editing or proofreading experience

- Previous experience in QA

We are looking for a full-time localisation specialist to work in our Central London offices. This represents an excellent opportunity to enter the video games industry and has excellent career potential.

Job Description
- Testing of European English versions of software and services
- Editing of press releases and other material translated from Japanese to English
- Proofreading of material adapted to suit the European English market
- Correction of terminology in QA material translated from Japanese to English

Skills Required
- Excellent native-level English skills
- Deep knowledge of FINAL FANTASY XI

Recommended
- Intermediate knowledge of Japanese
- Familiarity with US English

Rate of Pay: £7 per hour; 24 paid holidays per year (pro-rata to actual time worked)

Work Hours: 20 to 37.5 hours per week (flexible)
