Monitors game servers/networks and escalates technical problems or issues to appropriate personnel such as Japan staff, Network Services department, Back-end Support and Game Masters. Investigates these issues and coordinates with appropriate personnel to resolve them.
Monitors and manages servers/networks including start/stop of servers for maintenance or troubleshooting. Monitors logs, emails and surveillance tools.
Provides translation for communication between Japan staff and US staff. Translates news announcements, special reports, troubleshooting tickets, player reports (“catberts”) and other documents.
Uploads news announcements on the web for the online community.
Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary information including but not limited to customer account information and network information.
Provide in-game support for Square Enix titles to both Japanese and English users.

SALES ANALYST (Los Angeles, CA) |

| The Sales Analyst is responsible for managing all of the sell through reports for our titles on a weekly basis and ensuring their accuracy and will also be responsible for updating all forecast (RPR) reports, and Coop/MDF entry claims. The Sales Analyst will also be responsible for analyzing the sales trends of our titles and monitoring product inventory at our warehouse, as well as making recommendations to order additional units based on inventory analysis. The Sales Analyst will also create and update the monthly NPD reports. The Sales Analyst will be expected to perform this job in a timely manner and with accuracy. |

Four year degree from an accredited university preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Minimum one year sales planning experience within the retail industry
Previous experience in forecasting, analysis, and negotiating
Knowledge and familiarity with EDI, Retail Link, and Partners Online
|

Manage weekly through reports and update forecast reports and Coop/MDF entry claims.
Assist Sales Manager with monitoring product inventory of all front line and back-catalog titles for possible reorders.
Analyze sales trends and Assist Sales Manager with projections; recommend production needs for game titles.
Coordinate accurate shipments for title launches between accounts and warehouse.
Become familiar with customer vendor sites (e.g. Wal-Marts Retail Link and Target’s Partner’s Online).
Generate monthly reports for REPs vendor and submit to Accounting department.
Assure the accuracy of all EDI orders received and processed.
Assist Sales Administrator with processing Sales Orders (PO’s) and entering data into Inventory Reports.
Update WM item setup for each new release and setup of new titles with Ditan. Maintain and update Price List and Wal-Mart set up sheets with Ditan as necessary.
In the absence of the Sales Administrator, provide sales support for SMP sales reps to resolve customer/accounts issues related to orders, price protections, returns, co-op and RAs.

QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER (Los Angeles, CA) |

Responsible for the quality assurance testing of assigned console and handheld games in development for the North American market. This position will be onsite at our El Segundo, CA location. |
|
|
High School diploma or equivalent
Game testing experience a plus
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good problem solving skills
Basic knowledge of video games. Familiarity with games consoles and handheld games
Basic ability and dexterity in playing video games
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Internet
Minimum typing skills 40 WPM

Examines and analyzes video game content for bugs.
Documents bugs found in the games.
Writes error reports which are sent to the development team for rectification. When the error has been fixed by the development team, the QA tester verifies that the fix works properly.
Communicates with Quality Assurance team to ensure deadlines are being met.
Creates internal guides and materials.
Uploads error reports to appropriate databases. Maintains databases to ensure up-to-date information has been entered.
Conducts industry research of comparable video games by examining and evaluating competitors’ games and creating game reports.
Maintains confidentiality of games that have not been released to the public.
