Square Enix Tourism Association: Heliodor in DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition

Hello, we’re the Square Enix Tourism Association.

Today we’ll be introducing a wonderful sightseeing destination to visit the next time you have some free time.

In this world, there are people who have nothing to do with the player or the story living their everyday lives. They have their own histories and cultures, constantly evolving. And their home is a place of scenic beauty, shaped by natural phenomena totally different from what we’re accustomed to.
So how about just letting yourself get immersed in the sights on your screen? After all, a game is something to be enjoyed, not simply completed.

Today’s coverage is of Heliodor from DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition.

The Kingdom of Heliodor, governed by the illustrious King Carnelian III.
It’s one of the most prosperous and powerful nations in all of Erdrea.

We start at this fountain with elegant statues.
Further back, you can see the kingdom’s coat of arms adorning the gate to the majestic castle.

Walk down the streets, and you’ll see children happily running around.
Their parents must be setting up their street stalls for the day, I assume.

The backstreets have a tranquil feel.
And the weather’s nice and clear too, great for a walk.

That big dog is so cute!
But some people might find it scary...

It seems like some kind of music event is taking place.
The mark of a lively city, right?

Ah, at last—a bar!
Let’s dance a little and quench our thirst.

Since we’ve come this far and all, we’ll head inside the castle for a look.

So, what did you think?

This town can be visited in the free demo.
It might be peaceful and tranquil now, but you wouldn’t believe how much that’ll change later on...
If you want to find out what happens, you’d best go and fetch your best adventuring boots!

So, that’s our time for today.
All of us at the Square Enix Tourism Association look forward to seeing you again.
