Live Streaming and
Video/Image Posting Guidelines

The Game Materials consist of the following content from the Game:

• Gameplay footage, still images, characters, and music from the Game;

• Text and information from the Game; and

• Text, information, images, and video footage published on the Game’s official website.

By posting or livestreaming gameplay content, you agree to the following Guidelines.

• Using the Game Materials on personal social networking accounts; and

• Streaming or posting content on video-sharing platforms licensed by JASRAC for music use, such as YouTube and Twitch.

• Commercial or for-profit use is prohibited. “Commercial Use” includes receiving compensation, rewards, or using the content for advertising of products or services.

• Corporate accounts are not allowed to use the Game Materials.

• Except for “freemium” services like YouTube Premium, please refrain from posting on any platform that requires paid access to view content.

When posting or streaming content containing Game Materials, you must clearly display copyright information in a noticeable location. However, microblog platforms such as X (Twitter) do not require copyright display due to limited space.

Square Enix may delete, restrict, or monetize videos at its discretion that fall into the following categories:

• Videos consisting solely or mostly of movie cutscenes (including event scenes) or large numbers of sequential images intended to recreate cutscenes.

• Content aimed primarily at music listening without normal gameplay.

  (e.g., static screen backgrounds, looping character idle animations, adjusted audio to highlight in-game background music only).

• Content that combines the Game Materials with content from other products or media.

• Content that is posted on:

  - Paid-access platforms (except YouTube Premium)

  - 18+ sites

  - Sites that violate public order and morals

  - Platforms related to religion, politics, or antisocial activities

• Content featuring Square Enix logos; however, players may use the Game title name or company name to identify the content.

If prohibited video content is detected, Square Enix or its licensed third parties may apply monetization measures.

Excessive modification or alteration of content is prohibited. Adding music or audio that is not included in the Game is also prohibited.

The following are allowed:

• Adding your own voice (such as commentary)

• Resizing video

• Changing file format or compression

• Trimming/clip editing

• Gamma correction

• Editing or removing portions to avoid spoilers

• Blurring or masking other players’ names

• When posting gameplay that displays other players’ names, you do so at your own responsibility.

• When posting your own player ID, please do so with full awareness and responsibility.

• Screens showing purchase information for the virtual currency “MogPay Points” may contain account IDs—please exercise caution.

Square Enix provides no warranty regarding the use of Game Materials under these Guidelines, including whether the content infringes on third-party rights.

Square Enix is not responsible for any damages or disputes arising between players or third parties as a result of posting gameplay content.

Square Enix reserves the right to update these Guidelines at any time.

If previously posted content becomes non compliant due to an update to these Guidelines, the content may be removed.

Violating these Guidelines may result in actions such as account suspension or permanent bans, and damages may be claimed if losses occur.
